HB 374 - 2015
Provided schools across the State of Montana with the resources needed to provide suicide prevention and awareness programs. Montana has one of the highest suicide rates in the nation and legislation like this gives us the tools to reduce suicides across the state.
HB 585 - 2009
Promoted Montana's family hunting heritage by creating a program known as "Come Home to Hunt". This program
allowed for a non-resident to hunt in Montana with a resident family member or sponsor. This bill protects a vital part of our shared Montana heritage, hunting while also promoting the strong family bonds. Edie believes that Montanans should be able to enjoy everything the state has to offer and will continue to support legislation which promotes our way of life.

HB 660 - 2019
Requested by Sen. McClafferty; Sponsored by Rep. Joel Krautter (R)
This provided the funds needed to create a mobile crisis unit program in Montana. By creating a mobile crisis unit, individuals experiencing a mental health crisis can be treated where they are instead of being forcibly taken to an alternative location. This allows mental health experts across Montana to address issues as they arise and in turn helps lower the suicide rate. Additionally, it demonstrates Edie's ability to work across the aisle to get things done.
